Welcome to Podere Ristella, your relaxing holiday in the Maremma countryside just a few kilometers from our beautiful sea!

Farmhouse
A passion handed down from generation to generation
Love and passion for wine-growing
The farm originated in the 1940s when my family went down from the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and after a life entirely devoted to sheep-breeding, they decided to integrate this trade with viticulture.
This tradition has been extremely strengthened over the years thanks to the exemplary commitment and dedication of Ulisse Pagliai, my father-in-law, passionately fond of wine, as well as being a successful keen wine grower.
In the 1980s, my husband and I started to run the business ourselves by planting new selected vineyards in order to give our future wines a considerable increase in quality and prestige.

Where we are

The Podere Ristella estate, mainly cultivated with vineyards, is favourably located at the foot of the ancient medieval village of Montemassi, in the Tuscan-Maremma countryside, against a backdrop of olive trees, at about 200 metres above sea level.

The medieval city of Massa Marittima is only about 30 km far away and also famous seaside resorts as Follonica, Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala are within easy reach.

Heading towards the hilly villages of Roccatederighi and Sassofortino (at about 600 metres above sea level), you can enjoy the relax and the mild coolness offered by many chestnut woods.
